NWSA: Knight Art Student Travel Program
NWSA: Knight Art Student Travel Program is committed to advancing education through travel and hands-on experience with art. This program offers BFA graduates of New World School of the Arts (NWSA) the opportunity to travel to historical destinations, private collections, museums, and cultural events. Scholarships cover all expenses associated with travel and accommodations, including per-diem stipends.
During the summer of 2024, graduating BFA students from New World School of the Arts (NWSA) traveled to Venice and Florence, Italy. In 2023, the graduating BFA class from New World School of the Arts (NWSA) traveled to Madrid. In response to COVID, the 2022 graduating BFA class participated in a month-long artist residency program at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). From 2010 through 2019, New World School of the Arts (NWSA) students traveled abroad to destinations such as Paris, Venice, Florence, Rome, Berlin, Kassel, Barcelona, Bejing, Shanghai, and Xi’An.
