Dr. Allison Thompson, founder of “Third Wave First Responders” and Presidential Medal of Honor recipient, has been on the ground since day one. Her team is saying this is worse than Katrina and may be the worst natural disaster in U.S. history.
She’s collecting essential items to drive up to North Carolina next week. The most urgent needs are donations for solar lights (some areas may be without power for months) and water purification straws. Families also need gift cards (grocery, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart, Visa, Amex) to buy what they need most.

Items Needed:
- Power/granola bars
- Sports drinks/Liquid IV
- Baby wipes, diapers (baby & adult)
- Baby formula
- Manual can openers
- Garbage bags (contractor/lawn)
- Gloves, bug spray, sunscreen
- Feminine hygiene products
- Cleaning supplies (bleach, disinfectants, mold sprays)
