Miami, FL (November 1, 2023) – The Key Biscayne Community Foundation (KBCF) is excited to announce its participation in Give Miami Day, an annual giving movement set to take place on November 16, 2023. Supporters are able to contribute to their favorite nonprofit organizations from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm, marking a 24-hour opportunity to make a difference in Greater Miami through online giving. Early giving opens on November 13.
Give Miami Day is a community-driven initiative that brings together organizations of all sizes, both new and established, with the shared goal of celebrating and increasing generosity in the Greater Miami area. This day of giving raises awareness about the crucial roles played by these organizations in our community and inspires individuals to discover and contribute to the causes they care about.
The primary objective of Give Miami Day is to encourage every Miami-Dade resident to donate to a nonprofit organization. This collective effort empowers individuals to support the causes closest to their hearts and to build a stronger, more compassionate community.
While The Miami Foundation hosts this remarkable event, the Key Biscayne Community Foundation is taking an active role by powering its fundraising campaign in support of its fiscal sponsorships. The KBCF encourages support towards participating Key Biscayne programs such as A Zero Waste Culture, FillABag, Fab Lab Miami, and more.
