Fresh Produce Delivered to Families in Need Throughout Liberty City

In partnership with Miami Dade County Public Schools, United Way, Key Biscayne Community Foundation, Chief Press Foundation, Farm Share, and Hearts of Palm catering, families throughout our sister city, Liberty City, will receive one bag of fresh produce per week.

Chief Press Foundation has donated a delivery truck used to pick up produce at Farmshare’s Homestead warehouse and delivered to the Hearts of Palm Catering space.

From there volunteers from United Way unload the produce, repackage it for families, and load the bagged produce back in the truck for delivery to Liberty City schools, including Brownsville Middle School and Charles R. Drew K-8.
