Knight Community Information Challenge Grant

KBCF is proud to be a winner of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation: Knight Community Information Challenge Grant. The grant is for $62,000 over two years and is a partnership between the Community Foundation, RSMAS, and the Village of Key Biscayne. The Knight Community Information Challenge engages community and place-based foundations in supporting news and information projects that inform and engage residents. The grant will support a citizen scientist program to involve residents in monitoring marine habitat to share news and information on projects affecting the local environment for residents of Key Biscayne and Miami-Dade County.
